Provincial A Championship March 5 & 6
Provincial A Championship, Kitchener – Waterloo, March 5-6, 2016
The Oakville Club had 27 members qualify to compete at the Provincial A Championship (total 127 skaters). Once again, Oakville qualified by far the largest number of skaters of any Club in the Province of Ontario.

Gold – Andrew Liou – 11 year old male, Alex Giannotti – 12 year old male
Silver – Nicole Vrazinoski – 13 year old female; Dania El Sammak – 14 year old female; Erin Stewart – Junior A female; Ian Welsby 14 year old male
Bronze – Alina Santos – 12 year old female; Megan Keenan – Junior A female; Tiago Santos – 14 year old male

Due to their hard work and dedication the following 11 skaters Qualified to compete at the Canada East Championship being held in Charlottetown, PEI on March 25 and 26, 2016:

Congratulations to Daniel Giannotti who skated his 500m time under 50 seconds at Provincial A – 49.42 seconds. Daniel has had a truly amazing season starting out in the Regional Series then Qualifying for the Provincial Series in December and now Qualified to compete at Canada East Championship for his age class. Well Done Daniel!!!! Emma Borca, Ainsley Little and Cyprien Petiteville as well started out in the Regional Series and through hard work battled their way to the Provincial Championships.
